I’ve always loved the poetry of garden-to-table-to-compost heap-to-garden. The almost-free food you get when you’ve only put in a little planning and a little work. Living on the Gulf Coast of Texas for most of my life, I was a little spoiled with the ease and abundance that having a garden entailed. Now I live in the Texas Hill Country, learning how to deal with a different climate (Zone 8) and different soil. Maybe now I’ll finally be able to grow potatoes!
Little Texas Garden is my way of keeping track of my mistakes and triumphs in my little patch of dirt. I hope it helps you, too.
